Banyan in Munich

I got something to take away during lockdown times. The food was delicious, not too spicy, the vegetables were fresh and still crunchy after a 15 minute walk to the hotel. You could also give me cutlery, which I have already experienced differently. Again any time.

Some restaurants lose quality during the lockdown - but not Banyan. I regularly go to lunch and dinner there and it always tastes good, regardless of whether you pick up or eat there. The landlord runs the business with his sons excellently and you always feel good. I can especially recommend the drinks! Top address in Munich also in terms of location.

We have been going to the banyan for about 3 years now. Food and drink: The dishes are usually very tasty and you can taste the freshness. The portions are too small (especially for the price). Also a shame: Herbs take up 3/4 of the plate for the starters - even if they are tasty, that's too much. The price-performance ratio is not right. In the meantime, unfortunately, the taste of the dishes has also decreased. Ambience: Very pleasant, subtle lighting and it's quiet in the restaurant. There is also enough space to the other tables. There is also a nice courtyard where you can sit in the summer. Service and handling: The service is attentive but could be friendlier.

A very large restaurant, lots of space and, when the weather is nice, lots of space to sit in the backyard! Large selection of dishes, everything freshly prepared, delicious and a recommendation for all-round service you are looking for

I found the bid extremely appealing, and there is a lot of taste there that is a pleasure. The portions are an appealing and filling dimension. My sisters and I use the guest house in keeping with the times for all events, whether with friends, friends or family. Super great and polite service. I think that the entire restaurant staff did a very good job there.

Food average. Aufgesetze friendliness with the service. You literally notice how you have to hurry after dinner so that the table is free again for the next guests - despite a reservation. No recommendation. Unfortunately.

The restaurant itself is very nice, a very pleasant ambience and very courteous staff ... as far as the food is concerned, I found the price-performance ratio not particularly good ... so I expected more for the price ... fish was too dry and turned out then badly filleted .. in the price category you can expect something else

A very nice restaurant serving excellent Vietnamese food. It is a bit pricey though. Remember to check if there is any table left as they may become fully booked during peak hours.

Cozy restaurant, subtle lighting and sound. Friendly and sometimes too attentive staff, so that it already seemed intrusive. Good selection of dishes at high prices. The quality and taste are right.

Great Vietnamese food! A bit pricey and tough if you don't speak German, but can't knock the food. Can definitely recommend the crepe or duck salad as an appetizer, and the bún bowl was spot on. Also a good idea to make reservations, as the place got very packed for lunch!

Amazing service and quality , however a bit uptight atmosphere and high prices

Great vietnamese food, prices are mid to high range, but justified in my opinion. The only problem I have with it is the number of options, I get that different people have different tastes and you are trying to accomodate them all and offer many options. But then you are stuck looking at a menu for a long time just deciding what to get, I prefer smaller menus, but thats probably just me.

The food is good but the atmosphere does not match my expectations. This place deserve a much cosy asiatic atmosphere. The service is good. A bit too expensive for the place.

Atmosphere and interior is amazing. We ordered an appetizer platter that had a big variety and tasted pretty good. My main dish, however, was very disappointing. Barely any sauce, not particularly visually appealing, and in general, tasted really bland. Not convinced, wouldn’t come again.

Beautiful ambiance and delicious food walking distance from our hotel. What a great find! They got a good variety of authentic Vietnamese food along with great service as well. We will definitely come back here again.

The foods are fresh and not salty. Staffs are friendly most of time. They have a nice courtyard, so it is very fresh feeling to be there for lunch!

This large Asian restaurant is well-frequented at lunchtime and can cope, because the food is extremely delicious. You get to his dish for two a bowl of sticky rice. It gets fresh vegetables with a wonderfully spicy sauce. As drinks there is a wide selection of fruit spritzers, for example guava, lichi, apple or passion fruit. Priced the majority of the food is between 9 and 14 euros.

As for me, the place was too fancy and expensive restaurant (nothing is cheaper than 20 EUR!). And the dish I ordered was the smallest portion in comparison with my friends' ones (need grams in menu!) Not my kind of place.

Unexpectedly excellent Vietnamese food in downtown Munich! Great location and top notch staff push it towards the top of Vietnamese restaurants anywhere.

Most of the times the taste is excessive !

The food is really good and of high quality, accompanied by a large and targeted wine selection. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service staff extremely friendly and accommodating. We celebrated a birthday there, as even "Happy Birthday" was launched. Highly Recommended.

Really great food

I have been here several times for lunch, the food is super and it never lets you down. Super fast service that does not compromise on quality!
